energy saving tips

I'm very particular with this rule in the house: conserving electricity and water. We live in a high-rise building that has high-end commercial pumps and generators so there's no problem with water supply and brownouts. No problem for now, but what about in the future? What will our grandkids have because we wasted water and electricity that we are so lucky to have in abundance now?

love mother earth

I just have simple rules in our home that my son can follow.
1. Turn off the television when nobody is watching.
2. Turn off all lights or any electrical appliance when no one is in the bedroom (bathroom, kitchen, laundry room or any particular room in the house).
3. Put water in a glass to rinse teeth after brushing.
4. Turn off water in the bathroom when the pail is already full (my son doesn't like using the shower)

That covers everything that my son can do in the house to help save water and electricity. Not that hard right? Your kids can do it too.

Nice tips sis! ^_^ Even small things like this can make a big difference. Talagang dapat mainstill sa isa't isa ang awareness in energy saving. :)

It's nice that you are teaching your kid on how to be responsible at an early age.
