Best Moisturizing Lotion

When I was younger, and didn't have much to do, I used to put lotion all over my body after every bath. But I don't have the time to do that anymore, around once a year maybe but not more than that, because I have my hands full with housework and my online job as well.

I also can't find a lotion that can help nourish my skin and not sticky at the same time. Those that I've tried so far are sticky + still leaves my skin dry or nourishes my skin + sticky.

In this hot, humid weather that we have in this country, I can't handle a sticky feel all over my skin every time I sweat.

So I'm still on the lookout for that perfect moisturizing lotion. Care to share what you use and why you love it?

i'm addicted to olay!

I have another new one to add to my collection of Olay products. This supposedly is for people who have oily skin. I don't necessarily hate having an oily face since it is helps -the oil- in moisturizing the face and prevents early signs of aging like wrinkles and sagging skin. I just want to lessen the oiliness (right spelling?) of my face because there are times that I can't retouch/repowder in front of other people.

Have you tried this product? What made you buy the product? Was it effective for you?

i'm a big fan!

Olay Total Effects

Need I say more? The picture says it all.

And my latest addition to my Olay collection.

Olay Regenerist eye serum

I noticed a few lines around my eyes so I decided that I do need to buy, and use for the first time, an eye cream. I don't use one yet because a small tube of eye cream is so much more expensive than a bigger tube of moisturizer. I thought the moisturizer will also take care of skin around the eye area. But obviously it didn't.

Can anyone suggest an eye cream that will erase (really, I want these lines removed!) lines around the eye area?

And what moisturizer works best for you? Would love to try a new one that works better than Olay.

hide those pictures!

I don't want to see any of my close-up pictures when I was in high school. I cringe just thinking about it. I had pimples and acnes back then. Lots of it on my young face.

My mom never allowed me to use anything on my face except for soap. Well, I live in her house so I had to follow her rules! Dermatologists at that time were unheard of, in the province where I live, let alone acne pills
that can make the humongous acne's on my face vanish.

Fast forward to present time. I can now use anything on my face. My mom even asks what she should buy to prevent wrinkles on her face. I am now enjoying my freedom! Freedom to choose whatever is good for my skin.

And yes, I will exercise that freedom to forever hide my high school photos.

i now heart my curly hair

My hair perm has gone from bad to "lovely curls", thanks to hair styling tips that I found all over the internet. A few months back, I was not happy with my hair. I was very brave, really I was, not to cry when I saw what the hair stylist did to my hair. It was exactly the hair perm that I told her not to give me!

"You should buy a hair mousse." She must have noticed that I was on the verge of tears. I was jumping up and down (in my head) when I finally found a can of the most expensive hair mousse in the grocery store. My long curly hair transformed into Total Beauty curly hair in just a few minutes after applying the hair mousse.

I get excited everytime I pass by the hair accessories section in a department store. I always end up spending more time browsing hair accessories than doing what I was supposed to do there.

A few weeks back I had a haircut. The hairstylist gave me a layered look. I was not disappointed this time, the haircut defined my curls more! I am not afraid to experiment with my hair now. Next to do is change my black hair color to blonde? Maybe not.

you should try this product

... if you have curls. If your hair is straight, I don't think this is the hair product that you need.

I have written about my disappointment when I had my hair curled a few months ago. Now, I am loving my hair! Yaay!

It's all because of the bottle you see on the left. VO5's styling mousse. I have been using another brand of styling mousse and was so distressed with the way my hair looks. When I switched to VO5, my daily worry and frown turned into a smile.

I am planning to stick with curly hair because it makes me look my age. With straight hair I look 10 years younger. I should be happy looking younger, right? Not with a son as tall as me already. People tend to get confused if I am his sister, aunt or worse -- his yaya!

I am not planning to use mousse for the rest of my curly-haired life. Waiting for my hair to get longer. Then chop-chop and goodbye to my bad curl! Will then have my hair curled by a professional. Then I won't have to use mousse to define my curls.

scent that i love

If you'll ask me to choose between cologne and perfume, I will definitely choose cologne. Not because of my son's asthma and allergy problems. I just like the mild scent of colognes. Perfume smell irritates my nose and give me headaches. Milder scented perfumes though are For a few months already, I am addicted to the scent of "Bench Bratsplash Strawberry Shake" cologne. What I love about this cologne's scent is the sweet, delicious smell that lasts all day long.
